Understanding the Creative Brief
FG Productions is looking to update their 8 year old logo for modern audiences since they are expanding their production from a small scale independent films to a budgeted film with a nationwide release. FG productions comprises of a group of people core identity of creating something for the creator.
Materializing the Idea
FG production is envisioning something bold, approachable, and fresh to appeal to a primarily filipino audience. They want to carry over the color blue to the rebranding.
Refining the Idea
The first iteration is right on track but it lacks the simplification of the original logo. The refinement step is where I focus on finding what's missing and keeping simple so the client can easily use the logo in multiple ways (emblem, full logo, banners, etc).
Establishing a System
The client is happy with how the logo turned out. The next step is creating the bedrock of the updated branding, updating their style guide, letterhead, and other marketing needs.
Once the style guide has been finalized, the final steps are implementing the updates on social media and other communication channels.
